How Amazon.ae FBA fees work
Five size tiers
Small, standard and large envelopes, standard parcel up to 45 × 34 × 26 cm and 12 kg, and oversize up to 30 kg, with an extra charge per kg above 30 kg.
A price break at AED 25
Every row has two prices: one for items at or below AED 25 and a higher one above it. The calculator picks the column from your price.
Unit weight
Amazon's published examples bill on unit weight within the tier's size limits, so a light item in a big box changes tier but not weight band.
VAT
Amazon's fees exclude 5% VAT. A VAT-registered seller pays VAT on sales and reclaims the VAT on Amazon's fees; the calculator takes the VAT out of your price and lets you add it to fees if you cannot reclaim it.

Example: a 25 × 18 × 4 cm unit weighing 300 g, sold for AED 79.00, is a large envelope with a fulfilment fee of AED 9.00 including the surcharge and a referral fee of AED 7.90.

Questions sellers ask
Why is the fee lower at or below AED 25?
Amazon.ae prices fulfilment in two columns by item price. Below the break the same box costs AED 2 to 5 less per unit.
Does Amazon use dimensional weight here?
The tier depends on the box size, but Amazon's fee examples use the unit weight for the weight band. Check Fee Preview in Seller Central for your own listing.
Is there a minimum referral fee?
Yes: AED 1 per item in most categories (none for grocery and a few others).
How accurate is this compared with Amazon's Revenue Calculator?
It reproduces every fulfilment example on Amazon's UAE fee page. One of Amazon's referral examples (the AED 7,000 watch) is internally inconsistent; we follow Amazon's stated rule, which gives AED 850, not the AED 1,150 printed.
